Associate Procurement Director

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives in Brazil, collaborating with the Latin America team. This role involves managing key projects, building strong partnerships with regional category leads, driving supplier collaboration, and spearheading digital transformation to create a resilient and innovative procurement ecosystem. You will report directly to the Brazilian Procurement Director and have a dotted line to the local CFO.
Accountabilities:
Manage strategic stakeholder and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment and performance.
Support local needs related to various types of purchases within the Indirect categories. Be a true partner to users and stakeholders, agile and flexible while ensuring compliance, and promote innovation.
Lead contractual and commercial negotiations, delivering tangible value and mitigating risks.
Champion digital adoption and process improvement to modernize procurement operations.
Drive sustainability initiatives with suppliers and embed responsible practices in the supply chain.
Apply data-driven analysis and insights to support sourcing decisions and category strategies.
Support regional and global Procurement initiatives, collaborating across functions and geographies.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree with Master desirable.
Significant experience in a procurement environment with solid experience in Strategic Sourcing or equivalent, contracts management, stakeholder management, and category strategies.
Ideal senior experience.
Experience in project management, change management, and leadership of teams.
Proven negotiation and influencing skills, with ability to operate in ambiguity.
Advanced English is mandatory; Spanish is desirable.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
Technical skills: SAP (Procurement Module), Coupa, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to manage priorities, resources, and high-impact initiatives.
